I had finally connected my laptop to wireless internet and now I no longer can connect. I have cable internet connection to my PC, I installed a wirless G router, I had finally connected my laptop to wireless internet but the connection was unsecure. I did the necessary to secure it entering a password and now I get a message saying: This computer is connected to(network name) butr does not have access to the internet. This might be caused by an incorrect WEP key or low wireless signal strength.) I know I have a strong signal for I right beside the router and I see the signal symbol is at maximum. I copied and pasted the WEP key. If necessary, how can I change eht WEP key? Please help....Why is it that I cannot connect my laptop to wireless internet?
if you have to change the WEP key get you CD and put it into the laptop i had the same problem you have to hook it up to the router with the enthernet cable because you have to get on a web site but it does this for you can also check the internet for this info by taking you enthernet cable and pluging it into your laptop from your router
